Sax Patch Family--To folks who signed up for our weekly announcements at the fundraiser last month, apologies for taking so long to put you on the mailing list. We hope to see you in the garden soon! Weekly Garden Recap: Last week we (and by we, I mostly mean Richard) got the new shed set up with tool racks, shelving, and pegboard. Once that was handled, we were able to move all our tools in. There’s so much space now, and tools are up and out of the way instead of poised to fall on top of unsuspecting gardeners. We also installed four tripod trellises, put in tomato and pepper transplants, and kept up with the usual watering, weeding, and turning our four compost piles. We harvested lettuces, kales, chards, new potatoes, cilantro, arugula, beet greens, strawberries, snow peas, spinach, pac choi, and green onions. Much of the harvest was donated directly to SAFE. It always feels good to share from our abundance. ————————— This week we will continue to meet on Wednesday at 3:30 and on Saturday at 9:30. —————————
